It's high summer here at the farm and the nights are getting cooler, fresh tomatoes, corn and produce are ripe and the gardens are at their peak. We are going to take you on a little tour of our barn which is the extension of our shop and all the things that are going on around in and outside of it.
We set up this modern display outside of the barn with these awesome metal butterfly chairs and tropical plant material such as cannas and eucomis. At the entrance to the barn both sides are flanked with vignettes of topiaries and objects for purchase.
Giant Iron bells are suspended in the huge space and we offer unique lighting that is also showcased through out the barn pictured below.
Giant ceramic pumpkins are piled up on one side of the door and even more plants like the hibiscus pictured below fill the tables and benches.
A praying mantis copper sculpture by a local artist creeps around a fern and the main table is filled with unique statuary, antiques and fine gift paper.
Towards the back of the barn in our cooler we offer milk, blueberry-milk, tons of cheeses and outstanding yogurt from Silvery Moon Creamery at Smiling Hill Farm in Maine. The farm fresh eggs are from owner Tony's Ward Brook Farm down the road.

Besides the dairy we have a sweet roadside stand that has been stocked for weeks with local produce provided by Chase Farms right down the road in Wells. Everything tastes amazing but folks love the fresh Maine blueberries, tomatoes, and corn.
Finally alongside the barn is a thin bed filled with some of the more unique annuals we carry including salvias, nicotianas and eupatorium. This garden continues to impress and evolve over the season. We hope you enjoyed this little sneak peak into just one small part of our farm. Feel free to come down anytime of year for there is always something new to see, taste or smell.
