It's just a few short weeks until Christmas and aside from all the beautiful topiaries and plants we grow here, our shop is filled with great gifts covering all price ranges. We decided to group them by themes so you can get a good sense for whom these would make great gifts for!
A Maine Woodland Christmas
Perfect for someone who has a little cabin the woods or is decorating with a woodland theme. Clockwise from top right we have the classic Maine balsam incense, sets of old-fashioned brush trees perfect for a table scape. Bottom and left is our most popular diffuser from Rosy Rings titled forest it makes the entire shop smell amazing followed by our Maine pine soap and the classic British pine soap Lightfoots would make the perfect stocking stuffer. In the center we have the coolest lumberjack ornaments in town!
Below clockwise from the upper right we have these adorable felted trophy heads that would cheer anyone up. We love pine cones to decorate with including the porcelain white ceramic and glass ones we have in our woodland room. The ceramic deer vase is a hoot and a real conversation piece, winterberry would look great for antlers or our pine cone sprays shown here. Our woodland glass ornaments are hit this season including the snail, Mr. Hedgehog and snow covered Christmas trees.
Retro Christmas
Think of big colorful Christmas lights and station wagons tied with trees, a retro Christmas is a lot of fun for sure! Clockwise from the top we carry these charming little coal boxes. Could you imagine receiving an engagement ring in one of those! A little primitive poinsettia would make a perfect little gift for friends at their office. Besides the balsam incense we have cedar incense from Maine as well and you can tie one of hour hand sewn felt gist tags when your done! To the left we have the classic tinsel to trim your tree in vintage packaging and a holiday rubber stamp set if you felt like getting creative and making your own gift paper. In the center we have another little box with a paper church on it covered in glitter.
A Barnyard Christmas
Not only do we have a real barnyard here at Snug but as do many of our friends, any of these fun gifts would make for a festive Christmas on your farm! Clockwise from the top we have these cheerful hand-blown glass chicken ornaments that would be great hung anywhere. Next some fun decorating can be had with these wooden disk sprays and rusty jingle bells strewn on a porch or door. At the bottom we have these heavy metal farm animals followed by a glass candle ornament that would be great on the tip of a bough on your tree. We have a new big batch of owner Tony's Ward Brook Farm honey and at center the book to teach you how to make your own, The Beekeeper's Bible.
Christmas For The Gardener
We have a plethora of great gift for the gardener in your life including beautiful twine in many shapes and colors perfect for working in the garden or wrapping those special gifts. Our pottery makes a perfect gift to potted up with an amaryllis or papperwhites at the bottom. We have a great line of designer watering cans at the upper left and they come in white, blue and solid copper as well. Miniature garden tools and furniture at the top is for either your terrarium or tiny fairy garden. The hand-forged scepters at the center if perfect as a stocking gift.
A Nautical Christmas
Being here on the southern Maine coast we have a lot of nautical themed gift ideas. From the top we have these shiny ball ornaments with starfish in them that would look great piled in a bowl with greens. Continuing clockwise we have series of detail hand-blown glass ornaments including the happy whale, shell, a friendly gull and mermaid. You can get that fire started by using these nautical boxes of matches and you can string your shell garland to the left over the mantel. The little balsam pillow embroidered with shells would be the ultimate little gift from Maine.
