Topiaries With Tony
Instructor: Tony Elliott
I'm sure you love our topiaries here at Snug Harbor Farm and now is your chance to learn how to make your own from the best in the business, owner Tony Elliott! You will learn about all the types of different plants that can be trained into a topiary, styles, methods, tools, and care. Then you will have the chance to prune and take home your very own topiary in a little terra-cotta pot. Larger plants are available for an additional cost.

A SOAPY VENTURE
Learn
how to make your own soaps and salves at home. Infused with herbs and
botanicals, these soaps and salves will have your skin feeling wonderful. These
homemade soaps are artfully crafted by hand, and formulated to cleanse
thoroughly but gently, with just the right amount of fragrance - enough to
be pleasant, but not too strong. They make great gifts for the holidays.
Classes include a complete demonstration and instructions including samples to
take home.

Inside A Garden Grows: A Terrarium/Kokedama Workshop
Instructor: Todd Carr
This is a great workshop for anyone whom wants to create a little world under glass. Terrariums have been becoming popular again over the past few years due to their easy care and simple beauty. They look great in any style home and they are a blast to create! Todd has been creating terrariums since he was young boy as taught by his Mother. He now creates all the beautiful ones sold here in our Garden Shop. Or learn to make kokedama which are Japanese moss balls. They are a
fun and new take on Bonsai. They will look great hanging in your home in a
window
The workshop includes one small plant, moss, soil, gravel, demonstration on creating a terrarium, and discussion on tools, care, and types of plants to be used. Students may feel free to bring their own clear glass container or purchase one here at the shop.
Additional plants and decorations including miniature furniture for the terrariums are a la carte.

Autumn Wreaths

Glean the grounds the of SHF to find the
perfect combination of autumn blooms, berries and feathers to make a beautiful
homemade autumn wreath from start to
finish. What better way to greet guests to your home or garden than with a stunning seasonal wreath. They will look charming on your front door, garden fence or out-building, and can give you weeks to years of enjoyment. The workshop includes instruction and one round wreath form.
Class includes materials, demonstration and a finished wreath.

Holiday Container Designs

Learn to create a beautiful and unique festive
holiday container. Stroll through the grounds of SHF to find festive
combinations of winter plants, berries, pods and twigs to add a bit of holiday
cheer to any area of your home. These holiday containers will look great on your porch or anywhere in your home. Bring your own container or buy one here. Class
includes materials, demonstration.

Homemade for the Holidays

Be the ultimate holiday hostess and learn
to make 3 creative special homemade holiday gifts. This class includes
Christmas in a Jar, an Outdoor Bird Feeder Ornaments and a Holiday Blooming Craft. Every participant gets to make one of each. Gifts will be festively
packaged and ready for giving. Fun for all ages.

Winter/Holiday Wreaths

holiday wreath. Wander the grounds in search of festive plants, berries and
twigs. Learn to make beautiful bows and decorations for your wreath. These wreaths will look beautiful in any area of your home inside or out and they will definitely add a bit of winter cheer. Class
