Connecticut Flower Show Sneak Peak
Let the unofficial start of spring begin with the 33rd Annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show. We will be there this week from the 20th through Sunday the 23rd. It has taken the staff here weeks of preparation from trimming topiaries and potting up hypertufa to cutting burlap and packing trucks just to bring you the best of the farm.
We will be exhibiting alongside over 300 other booths filled with plants, flowers, fertilizers, garden tools, tractors & mowers; patio & lawn furniture and more! There is a floral & garden related artisan section with one of a kind artwork, garden ornaments, jewelry, photography to name a few. Non-profit and educational exhibits, floral arranging demonstrations, seed planting for children plus hours of educational seminars. So its a real destination if your free this weekend!
We brought down of course many numerous varieties of our signature topiaries and succulents for our fans. There are also huge blooming orchids, potted up hypertufas, small 2" ferns and miniature fuchsia just to wet your plant taste buds.
Besides all our special plant material we have brought a unique selection of hard goods as well.
Fairy garden furniture, garden books, small stone statuary and of course our own line of terra-cotta pots are all filling in the spaces of our booth.
Emily and Stacey are there now waiting to greet all of you with big cute knowledgeable smiles. They traveled all day on a long journey from Maine and will be there all weekend to help any of you at the booth with questions and requests!
The show schedule is as follows starting from today.
Thursday 20th 10:00 - 7:00
Friday 21st 10:00 - 8:00
Saturday 22nd 10:00- 8:00
Sunday 23rd 10:00- 5:00
Tickets are $16.00 and $14.00 for seniors on Thursday and Friday. We hope to see you all there this weekend. The next chance you can get to see a little bit of Snug near you will be at the Boston Flower Show this coming March the 12th through the 16th. Happy Almost Spring!
