A Floral Harvest Workshop with Sarah Ryhanen



We here at Snug Harbor Farm are pleased to present A Floral Harvest Workshop taught by the extremely talented Sarah Ryhanen of Saiupa and The Little Flower School. The workshop will be a three hour intensive and consist of a talk, demonstration and instruction on gleaning the grounds here for botanical material for your own arrangement in one of our own terracotta pots. The focus will be on seed pods, fruits, dahlias, and fall blooming perennials and shrubs. The workshop fee is $200.00 and includes all materials, tools and a light lunch. Sarah Ryhanen is a self taught flower designer, grower and co-founder of The Little Flower School and Saipua. Her compositions have a haunting, sensual quality known for her loose, natural, garden-focused floral designs. Fueled by her reverence for flowers and penchant for travel, she has traversed the globe teaching, learning, and hunting down the most beautiful floral specimens.

Her work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Vogue and Martha Stewart.
